More than mosaic landscapes, community gardens add to the social, environmental and physical fabric of Metro Atlanta’s communities.

In an effort to support community gardens, Food Well Alliance assembled a team of educators, growers, and community partners to design and implement the Healthy Soil, Healthy Community Initiative to increase tools, technical assistance, and resources for gardens across five Metro Atlanta counties.

Through the Healthy Soil, Healthy Community Initiative, Food Well Alliance invested $75,000 to assist over 1,300 community gardeners with building soil and properly composting.

In February, we released the 2015 Impact Report, which highlights the impacts we made across our five-county region. Click the button below to download and view our 2015 Impact Report.

Food Well Alliance would like to thank the following partners for their collaboration in the Healthy Soil, Healthy Community Initiative.
