Let’s keep the momentum going!

Food Well Alliance was inspired by your city’s excitement about the City Agriculture Plan process. City official and community involvement in the Community Food Forum and your continued engagement with Food Well Alliance during our Opportunity Meetings demonstrated your city’s commitment to supporting community-driven agriculture.

Because of this demonstrated commitment, Food Well Alliance is extending an invitation to apply for an Opportunity Grant in the amount of $10,000.

This grant is specifically designed for you to implement a city agriculture project directly for the community with placed-based partners. Our Opportunity Grant will enable your city, in conjunction with a community implementation partner, to fund a city agriculture project that will help catalyze and build a supportive ecosystem for thriving community gardens and urban farms.

We are proud to continue our collaboration with your city as you play a leading role in the development of metro Atlanta’s local food movement. We believe that food is a tool to build community and that thriving community gardens and urban farms strengthen the heart of cities. We are excited to review your proposals for innovative and meaningful ways to leverage this Opportunity Grant to build a strong, equitable food system. Please review the following guidelines for more information.

Deadline to apply is Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:59pm.
