2016 Farm Scavenger Hunt (Atlanta Science Festival)

Farm Scavenger Hunt

Part of the Atlanta Science Festival

March 19, 2016 12 – 5 pm*

Back by popular demand! Come visit a real-life science lab—an organic farm! This scavenger hunt will allow you to explore the science of a real farm right inside the city. Stations will range from aquaponics, soil and worms, and food nutrition. Come prepared to romp on this food farm and get your hands a little dirty. Bonus: We’ll have a tasting activity with a local chef. Activities are geared towards families with children age 5-14, but all are welcome!

  • This event will take place rain or shine.
  • Location: Gaia Gardens/Love is Love Farm: 900 Dancing Fox Rd., Decatur, GA 30032

*Activities take about 1.5- 2 hours to complete, so please plan to arrive by 3 pm at the latest.
