To kick off the Great Georgia Pollinator Census, Food Well Alliance is hosting an event at Tapestry, our donation garden. You'll learn about the census, why it's important to participate, and how to identify native pollinators.
Master Beekeeper Steve Esau of Little Bee Project, who manages the beehive at Tapestry, will be joining to discuss the importance of honeybees and give a brief tour of the hive.
There will also be a honey tasting, and we'll provide you with counting sheets you can complete at Tapestry or your own home garden.
Plus, follow us on Instagram and Facebook @foodwelllalliance for mini polls and additional information on how to identify native pollinators.
