Used by generations of farmers, cover crops can improve soil fertility, increase organic matter and reduce soil compaction. Join Food Well Alliance and the Atlanta Botanical Garden to learn how to adapt a selection of plants & techniques to benefit all types of growing spaces, promote soil health and prepare for a vibrant growing season.
In this special Plant. Eat. Repeat. Workshop, our friends at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network will also be there to share about health equity in cancer prevention, and we’ll wrap with a cooking demo featuring healthy fall cuisine!
Getting to the Garden:
The Stone Mountain Community Garden is located in the city's VFW Park, behind the post office. There's a large parking lot and the garden is easily visible once you're there.
