Celebrate this Earth Day with a service project in Atlanta's Proctor Creek!
Wednesday April 22, 2015 (1 - 4pm)
We will be collecting trash and removing invasive plants along a stretch of Proctor Creek near Boyd Elementary School on Johnson Rd. This is a great opportunity to experience the creek, connect with others and help do a little service for Proctor Creek! There is a limited capacity for the site, so register early if you're planning to participate!
Some waterproof boots will be available, but please bring your own boots and waders if you have them. Dress for the weather and bring your own water bottle if possible.
Children/Youth must be supervised by an adult.
Parking is available at Boyd Elementary School (1891 Johnson Rd, Atlanta, GA 30318) and carpooling is encouraged!
By registering, you are indicating that you have read and agree with the terms of the liability waiver (click here to view)
Organized by: Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, Community Improvement Association, Park Pride, Proctor Creek Stewardship Council & West Atlanta Watershed Alliance
