Georgia Organics will take you on a food journey from the soil to your plate. Participants will learn essential food preparation techniques while discovering healthy meal planning and increasing vegetable consumption.
The afternoon will kick off with a tour of Love is Love farm with farmer Joe Reynolds where you will see firsthand how organic veggies are grown and managed. Then you will join Chefs Nancy Campbell and Lynn Sawicki for a two hour hands-on culinary immersion in cooking fresh, seasonal vegetables, and legumes sourced straight from the farm. We will wrap up the day with a delicious vegetarian meal so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor!
