During this hands-on workshop led by veteran K-5 public school teacher and farm to school consultant Jenna Mobley, K-5 teachers will learn to integrate gardening and cooking activities into the elementary school classroom to provide hands-on, exploratory learning opportunities.
This workshop is open to K-5 educators in Golden Radish Award winning districts.
Specifically, educators will:
- Participate in model lessons that address science, social studies, math, reading, and writing standards across grade levels
- Explore farm to school resources
- Brainstorm with fellow educators implementation strategies for each unique school setting
