The Wylde Center invites all Educators to our Oakhurst Garden for a Farm to School Open House on Wednesday, October 19th from 3:30-5:30pm. This gathering serves as a celebration to those who have partnered with us over the years and as a welcoming Educators who are new to Wylde Center programming.
Stop by for refreshments, cooking demonstrations from FoodCorps Service Members, garden tours, information about our Field Trips and In-School Program, opportunities to speak with school and community gardeners, and even a raffle to win a free Field Trip for one grade level at your school!
This event is free and open to any Educator that is interested in hosting Farm to School programming or has partnered with the Wylde Center in the past. RSVP is recommended to help us plan for the amount of refreshments and staff.
Food Well Alliance: We are connecting organizations that are working to make metro Atlanta's local food system resilient, including production, processing, distribution, consumption and recovery.
