Garden Queen & Cultured South presents Wednesday Lunch Series

Join us from 12pm-3pm every Wednesday for a pop-up lunch featuring Ms. Haylene Greene “The Garden Queen”.

Haylene is known in the West End for running her West End Community Urban Garden and supplying the community with fresh veggies and sorrel (Hibiscus-Ginger) tea. She’s a local pillar of the community and we are excited to partner with her to bring you a taste of the islands.

Each Wednesday Haylene will serve a lunch consisting of flavors from her home- Jamaica. There will be three different meat dishes chosen by The Garden Queen each week: Jamaican Escabeche Fish, Chicken (Jamaican Jerk, Brown Stew, or Jamaican Curry),and Curry Goat or Ox-tails. These dishes will be served with three different options for vegetables! Some of the wonderful side dishes available will be: Jamaican beef patties, vegan/vegetarian tropical pumpkin vegetable soup, turmeric rice and beans. There will also be a refreshing Hibiscus-Ginger tea to drink.

To-go orders are available!
There will be no pork or shellfish at this series.
