Global Growers Compost Workshop

This workshop is provided by the Healthy Soil, Healthy Community Initiative and its community partners. 

Learn about managing soil fertility and composting at Decatur’s Kitchen Garden, a 2-acre community garden and fruit orchard that uses cutting edge ecological principles for sustainable land management.

For our community and educational gardens, if you take part in this workshop, your entire community garden will be eligible to receive a soil test, quality compost, a compost bin, a weatherproof sign, and a composting thermometer - compliments of Food Well Alliance. You will need to register for the Healthy Soil, Healthy Community Initiative in order to qualify. Register here by July 28.
