Halloween Chili Night!

  • East Atlanta Village Farmers Market 561 Flat Shoals Avenue Southeast Atlanta, GA, 30316 United States (map)

Dress up for the weekend early and bring the whole family to the market on Thursday for chili and Halloween fun! The evening will feature a host of fun, local food festivities including Trick or Treating, special guest chefs, bartenders and delicious, hot food.

East Atlanta-based chef, Rose Bigelow, will prepare warm and hearty vegetarian and meat chilis with ingredients sourced from the market’s local farmers. Chili will be offered by the bowl for $5 alongside La Calavera’s artisanal bread. A special guest chef will demonstrate and sample grilled fall veggies, Tim Frost of the Bookhouse Pub and Jason Kemp of The Family Dog will host a pumpkin cocktail demonstration, and a local craft brewer will host a beer demonstration.

Be sure to bring the kids for Trick or Treating for toys with the vendors at the market, a fantastic Halloween piñata and festive face painting. There will be plenty of hot apple cider, and, as always, picnicking in the garden is encouraged.
