Historic Westside Gardens 10 Year Anniversary

Historic Westside Gardens (HWG) started in 2009 with the installation of a dozen home gardens in Vine City and technical assistance to the residents on how to garden. Now ten years later, HWG serves more than 150 families on the Westside. managers two community garden hubs, and offers programming centered around gardening, health, and wellness.

For HWG's 10 year anniversary we will be hosing a night of celebration and entertainment. Come and enjoy live music by Farmers’ Jam, catered finger foods, mocktails created with HWG’s own herbs, and local craft beer. The event will also feature community voices sharing Historic Westside Garden’s amazing journey from a seedling nonprofit to what it is today. 

Come celebrate the last ten years and get inspried to help HWG fulfill its mission over the decade to come!
