The vision of Metro Atlanta Urban Farm is to build stronger and healthier communities through sustainable urban agriculture. Our mission is to reduce barriers to healthy living in urban communities by encouraging, promoting and supporting health education and sustainable high-quality low-cost agricultural production through gardening and farming training.
The 2016 theme: “Sustainability Works”. Metro Atlanta Urban Farm staff will continue to provide technical assistance to community gardeners, schools, seniors facilities, churches, boys and girls clubs, housing authorities, farmers, non- profit organizations, health departments and whoever needs our expertise. We believe that growing your own food is the beginning to a better life for all people no matter where you come from.
The Leadership Association Meetings are designed to provide information that is educational, therapeutic, and beneficial in helping to improve the quality of life for you, your families and the community.
