Join us for an educational workshop on vermicomposting! In this hands-on session, participants will delve into the fascinating world of home (or small-scale community) composting.
Learn the basics of vermicomposting and discover how easy it is to transform food scraps and organic waste into nutrient-rich fertilizer for your plants. Brandon Brones, Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Community Programs Coordinator, will guide you through the process of setting up and maintaining a worm composting bin.
You’ll also have the opportunity to create your very own worm composting bin to take home.
Getting to the Garden:
The garden is located in the city's VFW Park, behind the post office. There's a large parking lot and the garden is easily visible once you're there. Restrooms are not available at the garden, but there are a few options a short drive away.
