Taking it to the Farm

  • Gaia Gardens Dancing Fox Road Decatur, GA, 30032 United States (map)

Join us for an evening of good food, drink, and celebration of farming abroad and here in Georgia. Co-hosted by Social Enterprise at Goizuetaand Love is Love Farm at Gaia Gardens, we will be welcoming visiting coffee farmers from Central America, South America, and East Africa while enjoying cocktails and small plates from our fabulous bartender and chef team curated by Chef Terry Koval of Wrecking Bar Brewpub. Food and drink will be inspired by cultural traditions of our guest coffee farmers as well as our southern USA foodways and we hope to cultivate conversations around strategies for farmer success. Guests will have plenty to eat while mingling around our beautiful, organic farm with some table seating provided. All proceeds from this event support the Farmers Benefits Project, an initiative between Emory students and Georgia Organics, focused on designing a new health care insurance model for Georgia's farmers. Members of Georgia Organics receive a discounted ticket rate.
