The teams at Food Well Alliance, Truly Living Well and WABE would like to give a huge shout out to our Soil Festival 2022 guests, volunteers, workshop leaders, vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, patrons and everyone who helped make this event possible. We had an amazing time continuing our spring tradition of celebrating soil as a key source for building gardens and healthier communities. We can’t wait until Soil Festival 2023!

Soil Festival is an annual spring tradition connecting people with where their food comes from and celebrating soil as the key source for building a strong local food system. In 2022, we created a fun, family-friendly event where attendees of all ages could gather to experience an urban farm in Atlanta’s historic Ashview Heights. Attendees enjoyed delicious food sourced from local vendors, learned about the importance of healthy soil, and engaged in cooking demos, kids’ activities, and workshops on topics including composting, pollinators, herbal farmacy, and gardening. This event also featured a beer garden, local produce market, plant sale, and compost giveaways. Proceeds from this year's event went to help provide critical resources to local farms and community gardens. See you in 2023!
