Food Well Live is a weekly show every Friday at 1 PM on Instagram Live that features updates about local food from across metro Atlanta and beyond, as well as interviews with farmers and local food organizers.

This week's Food Well Live featured Will Sellers of Wholesome Wave Georgia to discuss massive unemployment, enrollments in SNAP/EBT, and how to double dollars at farmers markets at plant sales. We also spoke with Tenisio Seanima of Nature's Candy Farms to discuss garden consultations and his work for the City Agriculture Plan in East Point.

The creation of Food Well Alliance was made possible through funding from the founding benefactor, the James M. Cox Foundation, and through the vision of Jim Kennedy, chair of Cox Enterprises, and Bill Bolling, founder of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Together, they saw an opportunity to build healthier communities across metro Atlanta by supporting and connecting members of our local food movement. Today, we support more than 300 community gardens, urban farms and orchards in the Atlanta region.
