Westside Provisions District Farmers Market has teamed up with Atlanta-based company Sourcify to implement Sourcify Farm, a service that allows customers to pre-order fresh food and other goods from the farmers market. All orders will be pre-packaged and available for pickup at the Sourcify stand each Sunday.
In the age of on-demand food services and one-click purchases, SourcifyFarm is a glimpse of the future of farmers markets. This new application, exclusive to the Westside Provisions District Farmers Market, hopes to provide a fast and instant option for locally grown, organic products. Users simply go online, choose the items they would like to purchase and pick up their orders at the market before 1 p.m. Customers can choose to spend some time exploring the market or use Sourcify’s reserved parking spot for an on-the- go shopping experience.
