15 Local Community Gardens Receive Fresh Soil
/Fifteen Community gardens across metro Atlanta were recently awarded rich, organic compost in bright yellow bags thanks to Food Well Alliance and provided by Soil3, compost makers in southern Georgia.
Atlanta is lucky to have extended warm weather which makes it possible for many growers to grow in three (and many times four!) seasons of the year. The cubic yards of compost were delivered in perfect time for community gardens to plant fall crops.
Many congrats to the following community gardens who have extra help in the garden thanks to all the nematodes, fingi, protozoa and many other living beings in their nutrient-rich compost!
