Vine City Community Teaching Garden Looking for Volunteers

There is a lot in store for the Vine CityCommunity Teaching Garden located at the corner of James P. Brawley and Carter Street behind the Walmart (at 835 M.L.K. Jr Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30314), as well as the Northwest Youth Power Garden located at 1225 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW. We are especially seeing a lot of progress at the Vine City garden!

Dr. Carolyn Aidman, Associate Director of the Emory Urban Health Initiative has asked me to invite you to help us out on our garden build-out days happening every Saturday at the Vine City garden throughout this summer. We also have open hours throughout the weekdays on Tuesdays and Thursday:

We will be having another workday this Saturday, June 18th, from 9am to 12pm! Please invite anyone who might be interested to join us on Saturday, especially any friends or family members.
