Since 2018, Food Well Alliance has been working with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) to introduce City Agriculture Plans to cities across our five-county service area. Our vision is to bring local governments together with growers and their communities to ensure that cities incorporate local food and agriculture into their plans for development. So far, East Point and Alpharetta have been chosen to implement City Agriculture Plans.
Now we’re looking for the next city to start their journey! The application cycle is open through Friday, November 18.
Food Well Alliance: We are connecting organizations that are working to make metro Atlanta's local food system resilient, including production, processing, distribution, consumption and recovery.
