Community Garden Grants are back, and Food Well Alliance is offering a new opportunity this year! Through the Community Garden Grant, Food Well has deployed $454,560 directly to 168 community gardens since 2015. This year we will deploy $127,500 in direct funding to community gardens in our five-county service area and introduce a new Garden Forward Grant that will be given to two community gardens.

Community gardens in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties can apply to receive a $1,500 Community Garden Improvement Grant and/or apply to receive the $10,000 Garden Forward Grant. That's two categories of support submitted through one application! While we recommend applying for both options if you're interested in the larger grant, you can apply to just one grant through the same application.

Applications are now open, and the deadline to apply is Sunday, November 13. Grants will be announced and distributed at the beginning of 2023 ahead of the growing season.
