The third annual Decatur’s Dinner Party is sure to be one of the best food events of the season. Decatur’s most talented chefs are joining forces with Decatur’s organic farmers to cook up a feast benefiting Global Growers Network. More than 150 guests and community leaders will dine family-style on the beautiful grounds of the historic Decatur cemetery. The event will feature a multi-course meal featuring fresh produce from Global Growers farmers, handcrafted cocktails, local beer, and a superb wine selection. Silent and live auctions will offer guests one-of-a-kind experiences and gifts to take home.
All proceeds support Global Growers, a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities in sustainable agriculture by growing good food, training farmers, and providing economic opportunities. Global Growers is well-known for their two Decatur urban agriculture projects – Decatur’s Kitchen Garden and Umurima (the Burundi Women’s Farm) – where local families who came to Georgia as refugees grow thousands of pounds of fresh food each season.
Silent and live auctions will give attendees a chance to bid on VIP access to local festivals, incredible food and beverage experiences, and more.
