Academe of the Oaks High School will host a Harvest Festival and Pop-Up Farmer’s Market fundraiser on September 26th, 2015 from 10AM-3PM to celebrate the autumn harvest and showcase the school’s new pollinator garden. Proceeds from the Harvest Festival will benefit Academe of the Oaks garden program.The Harvest Festival is free and open to the public.
Activities include a tour of the certified pollinator garden, thermal composting demonstration, a goat milking demonstration, farm to festival food, farmers market, arts and crafts, beekeeping demonstration and more. Visits with rare heritage baby pigs, chickens, goats and honey bees. Live music!
