Fermentation enthusiasts, real food lovers, and those interested in the benefits of living foods are invited out to shop our Makers Marketplace featuring fermented goods from bread to kimchi, cheese to charcuterie. In between shopping, visitors will be treated to demos, yoga sessions & more on our Wellness Stage.
Plus, explore the DIY Fermentation Station where everyone can learn to make and take home their own jar of pickled vegetables. Continuing with the education component, we are looking forward to Georgia Tech's Science Corner with microscopes to view live bacteria and expert speakers to educate our visitors on the benefits of living foods.
Other noteworthy events include our Culture Swap, where fellow fermenters can exchange cultures, as well as a Homebrew Competition with some of the city’s most prestigious brewers as judges. Additionally, for a suggested donation of $5, adults can enjoy our Fermented Beverage Garden serving different locally fermented drinks including beer, wine, cider, mead, and more!
Want to be a fermentation hero? Amazing volunteers allow us to put this event on free of charge. Come spend the day with us, lend a hand, and have some fun!!
