Students will learn how to map out their own growing sites while working alongside Farmer Emily at one of Wylde Center’s farms. Students will learn about different tools they can use to map out their own garden and site keeping considerations in mind including sun, access, and slope.
Speaking of tools, Farmer Emily will also show examples of tools that make farming and gardening easier on the body and time efficient. Students will learn how to use the tools properly and how to make sure they stay well maintained.
